DESCRIPTION:While we understand Dr. Montessori’s emphasis on scientific observation as the foundation of our teaching methods and her encouragement to “follow the child” and “acquire a moral sensitiveness\,” many educators find it challenging to know how\, when\, what\, and why to observe effectively across all levels. You might even be wondering\, “What does love have to do with it?”\n\nJoin us for an engaging presentation where you will:\n\n1. Gain a deeper understanding and new perspectives on the power of observation.\n2. Learn to prioritize observation as the essential key to truly following the child.\n3. Discover how to make meaningful emotional connections with your students\, fostering trusting relationships.\n4. After founding and leading a Montessori school serving infants through middle school\, Kathy currently serves as the Executive Director of the International Montessori Council (IMC).
