DESCRIPTION:We will be reviewing the Montessori concepts and practices that give children the freedom to be all they can be. She is certified in Montessori for 3-6 (AMI) and 6-12 (PAMS). She holds a BS in Child Development\, an M.Ed. in Integrative Education\, a Master Teacher certificate from the Pan-American Montessori Society\, and a certificate in The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  \nShe served on the MACTE Board of Directors for ten years and was the recipient of the MACTE Wisdom of the Elders award in 2014. She founded teacher education programs in the US and Russia. Author of Learning to Read is Child’s Play\, Nurturing Your Child’s Inner Life and the newly released Free to Be\, Mary Ellen is delighted to share her experiences as a mother\, devoted Montessori teacher and human being. \nCertificate of Attendance \nUpon the completion of this session\, all attendees are welcome to fill out our 3-2-1 form and receive their certificate of attendance.
