SUMMARY:(Free) Montessori Colloquium: You Are the Intervention: Trauma-Informed Practice Through the Power of Relationship with Dana Alqinneh!
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, November 17th\, at 7:00 p.m. ET for an exciting webinar on “You Are the Intervention: Trauma-Informed Practice Through the Power of Relationship with Dana Alqinneh”! \nEvent Description: \nChildren today are absorbing the weight of the world in ways that aren’t always visible to the adults around them. This session explores trauma-informed practice not as a framework to fix what’s broken\, but as a way of being present in the small\, everyday moments that quietly change a child’s trajectory. Drawing on current research in resilience and relational neuroscience\, Dana Alqinneh makes the case that the most powerful intervention available to a child is not a program or a policy\, but an educator who truly sees them. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how attuned presence can shift outcomes for the children in their care. \nPlease register in advance for this meeting\, and feel free to share the registration link with your friends and colleagues: \n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \nhttps://zoom.us/meeting/register/YZ9XL5RIQca6wqKU_fogDQ#/registration \nAbout Dana Alqinneh: \nDana Alqinneh is Head of Pedagogy at Parent App and founder of The Early Years Academy by Parent App\, a professional development platform serving over 70\,000 educators globally. With nearly a decade of experience as an early childhood educator and centre principal in Dubai\, a Master’s in Education\, and a Master Trainer certification in Trauma-Informed Practices through Starr Commonwealth\, Dana brings a deeply practical and human-centered lens to early years leadership. She is also a children’s book author and the voice behind @ourcuriousplay\, where she champions conscious parenting and cultural connection.
