Ambar Saleh-Cipolloni, Ph.D. Faculty in College of Education
Dr. Ambar Saleh-Cipolloni has dedicated her life to education, guided by a profound love for children and a deep passion for teaching. She began her career by founding a successful preschool in her native Dominican Republic and has since devoted decades to advancing education across multiple levels.
She holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education; Master’s degrees in Spanish Languages & Cultural Studies, Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, and Montessori Education; as well as Montessori certifications in Preprimary (0–3), Primary (3–6), Lower Elementary (6–9), and Upper Elementary (9–12). In addition, Dr. Saleh-Cipolloni has earned a Doctorate in Biblical Psychology and an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership. She is currently completing both a licensure in Clinical Mental Health and Montessori certification in Secondary Education (12–18).
Her professional experience includes serving as a consultant for the Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA), which operates the largest number of early childhood programs in Florida, as well as consulting with Florida State University. She has also served as adjunct professor at St. John’s River Community College and Daytona State College, and as faculty assistant professor and department chair at Bethune-Cookman University. She continues to teach as an adjunct professor with Kentucky Wesleyan College and Florida Gateway College.
Alongside her professional career, Dr. Saleh-Cipolloni and her husband, Dr. Cipolloni, have raised four successful children, all nurtured with the Montessori philosophy.
She now brings her wealth of experience, academic leadership, and Montessori expertise to Sarasota University as a professor, where she is committed to preparing the next generation of educators and leaders.
