Elaine Blasi, Ph.D. Faculty in College of Education
Elaine Blasi has 40+ years in education: teaching, founding, and administrating in independent and charter schools and training in post-secondary programs. She has a BS in Foreign Service (Georgetown University), an MEd in International Ed (University of Virginia), and a PhD in Humanistic Psychology (Saybrook University). She is the Superintendent Emerita of Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School, an AMS/WASC accredited public charter school program serving students aged 6 through 18 years of age. Elaine is the President of Integration- Creation, LLC, an educational consulting company. In addition, she is currently an instructor and the Secondary I/II program level director at California Montessori Teacher Education Program (CAMTEP). Through the years, Elaine has worked as an instructor at the Houston Montessori Center TEP (Sec I/II) and Etonkids Montessori Teacher Training Academy (EMTTA) in Beijing (EC) and was the Interim Director of Montessori Program and an adjunct faculty member for Chaminade University of Honolulu TEP (EC). She is a past AMS board and School Accreditation Commission member and is AMS credentialed in Early Childhood and Secondary I/II.
