Jasmine Williams, Ph.D Faculty in College of Education
Jasmine Williams, PhD, is a 3–6 AMS-trained Montessori educator, researcher, and equity-driven leader with 19 years of experience in Montessori education. She has taught and led in Montessori schools across the United States and China, bringing a global perspective and deep respect for culturally responsive practice to every learning environment she supports.
Jasmine’s work bridges Montessori philosophy with racial justice, multilingual learner advocacy, and liberatory educational design. She holds a doctorate in Education for Social Justice and a Master of Education (MEd) in TESOL, both from the University of San Diego, as well as a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her work with schools and teacher education programs, Jasmine serves on the boards of the Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative (METTC), Breakthrough Montessori, and the Keres Children’s Learning Center. She has developed professional learning programs, led equity-focused initiatives, and coached educators nationwide.
Now based along Florida’s Emerald Coast, Jasmine finds joy in cooking, traveling, eating well, and spending time outdoors. She has visited 49 countries and brings the insight of a global educator and the heart of a community-centered leader to all she does.
