Julie Small, M.A. Ed. Faculty in College of Education

Julie lives in Wilmington, NC with her husband and three children. She is the Head of School at Peace Rose Montessori School, a small, private Montessori school for students 9 months – 8th grade in the Wilmington area. Julie has her BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University, her Montessori Early Childhood credential from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies, and her Masters in Montessori Leadership from Sarasota University. Julie volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem providing court advocacy and case management for children in the CPS system. Julie has served families in many different ways and is passionate about supporting children and their families and teachers through their educational journey.
