Justin Tosco, M.Ed. Faculty in College of Education
Justin Tosco is an educator, consultant, and advocate dedicated to building equitable, relationship-centered learning communities. A third-generation Montessorian, he brings more than a decade of experience as a teacher, administrator, and program leader in public and private Montessori settings.
In addition to his school leadership, Justin works as a restorative practices facilitator and consultant, helping schools cultivate cultures of belonging, resolve conflict through restorative dialogue, and align equity initiatives with Montessori philosophy. He has presented nationally on topics such as restorative practices, racial equity, and educational technology at conferences including the Montessori for Social Justice Conference, The Montessori Event (AMS), and the International Montessori Congress.
Justin is a founding board member of the Montessori Association of North Carolina (MANC) and has been recognized as both an Emerging Leaders Fellow and an Innovation Think Tank Fellow with the American Montessori Society (AMS). Most recently, he served as Manager of Montessori Learning and Innovation with AMS, contributing to national initiatives that supported school leaders and educators in advancing Montessori practice.
He holds a Master’s in Education and Montessori credentials for both the elementary and adolescent levels. Deeply committed to expanding access to high-quality Montessori education in the public sector, Justin continues to support schools and organizations in strengthening their capacity for collaboration and social impact.
