Louise Reid, M.Ed. Faculty in College of Education

Louise is an international Montessori directress who has spent many of her twenty-eight year career working at international Montessori schools abroad in the Caribbean, Australia, Asia, and Europe. She has her 6-12 elementary credential from the Washington Montessori Institute (AMI) and her M.Ed. from Loyola, Maryland. Louise has been working in the field of Gifted Education for the last six years, receiving her Graduate Certificate from the University of Central Florida in 2021. She also completed two undergraduate bachelors from UCF in Psychology and Spanish, which is her native language. Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, she grew up in a bilingual home and was educated in an English speaking, private schools. Currently, Louise is back in the classroom working at a wonderful Montessori school in the Tampa Bay area enjoying the west coast of Florida with her daughter and dog.
