Ranna Raval, M.A. Ed. Faculty in College of Education

Ranna Raval is an accomplished education professional with over 15 years of experience in various
capacities within the Montessori education sector. With a strong foundation in Montessori pedagogy,
Ranna has worked as both an educator and administrator.
Ranna’s leadership extends beyond the classroom into boardrooms and community organizations.
Currently serving as a Board Member for Coppell ISD, she actively contributes to the district’s vision and
fiscal well-being. Ranna is also a valued committee member on the Sarasota University College of
Education Advisory Board and a dedicated board member for the Irving Family Advocacy Center. With a
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Montessori Pedagogy from Sarasota
University, Ranna continues to be an advocate for student success, a leader in educational innovation,
and a dedicated contributor to the communities she serves.

As the Founder and Director of Guiding Star Montessori in Irving, TX, Ranna demonstrated exceptional
leadership by spearheading the establishment of the institution, from obtaining state and city licenses to
overseeing day-to-day operations. Her commitment to creating an enriching environment is evident in
her innovative ideas for both indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring optimal learning experiences for
preprimary children.

In addition to her administrative roles, Ranna has excelled as a Montessori Pre-Primary Lead Teacher,
fostering strong connections with children and their families. Her commitment to staff development and
mentoring is evident in her roles at Igrow Montessori School, A Child’s Garden Montessori School, and
Windsong Montessori School.

Ranna’s passion for education extends beyond the classroom, as seen in her volunteer roles with the
Boy Scouts of America and parent-teacher organizations. She has been recognized for her contributions,
receiving certifications in leadership training, social-emotional learning, and expertise in starting and
managing childcare businesses.
