Early Childhood Montessori Teacher in Apopka, FL, US
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate Certified Montessori Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. Key Responsibilities
Achievement Drive
- Montessori Methods: Implement Montessori teaching strategies to create an engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and execute age-appropriate activities to promote students’ holistic growth.
- Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with Montessori best practices.
- Montessori Values: Model and promote the principles of Montessori education in all interactions.
Classroom Structure & Planning
- Environment: Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Management: Maintain a cohesive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages independence and respect.
- Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to maintain a cohesive team and align on educational goals.
Student & Parent Relationships
- Student Progress: Assess and monitor student development, providing feedback to parents and administrators as needed.
- Parent Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents to foster partnerships, provide updates on student progress, and address concerns.
- Partnership: Build trusting, collaborative relationships with students and families to support individual student success.
Qualifications
- Credential: Montessori Credential is Required (AMI, AMS, or equivalent certification).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Montessori classroom setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; a commitment to fostering individual student success.
