Part-Time French Guide in Remote, Remote, US

Bridgemont International School (BIS) is growing & accepting applications from Montessori-certified guides for part-time teaching positions in the 2026–27 school year.

BIS is a fully online, live Montessori program serving adolescents in grades 7–12. Most of our students are enrolled in a local, neighborhood Montessori programs and join BIS online for academic studies, projects, and community experiences, an authentic Montessori secondary education model built on a highly interactive blend of live lessons, Socratic seminars, interdisciplinary group projects, micro-economy, and innovative approaches to experiential distance education.

BIS is distinctive for the breadth of community we offer students and faculty alike. Our network spans 8 time zones, 12 US states, and 9 countries, giving students the rare opportunity to connect with Montessori peers across the globe on a daily basis, all within small, intimate class sizes that allow for genuine relationship-building and individualized guidance. BIS has partnered with numerous schools as they launch and expand their adolescent programs. Making this possible is our faculty bringing deep Montessori expertise alongside a shared commitment to collaboration and innovation.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that adolescents deserve a developmentally appropriate, integrated curriculum that supports academic and social growth, self-expression, and preparation for adult life.

At BIS, we believe that bringing Montessori to an online environment isn’t about replicating a physical classroom on a screen. It’s about reimagining what Montessori can look like in a dynamic, digital world. We empower our passionate and compassionate faculty to think creatively, push boundaries, and innovate how Montessori pedagogy translates to an online platform. This spirit of curiosity and experimentation runs through everything we do, and it attracts educators who are energized by the challenge of doing something truly new.

We are looking for guides who bring:

    • Montessori certification; Adolescent-level certification strongly preferred
  • Subject-area expertise and experience working with middle and/or high school students
  • Comfort with live, synchronous (not pre-recorded) online teaching platforms
  • A community-oriented, equity mindset and enthusiasm for the Montessori adolescent philosophy

Flexible, part-time schedules are available to accommodate existing commitments. BIS welcomes applicants from across the country.
